Even Better for YOU

Committing to constant improvement for even better products.

I am so excited to share with you about a national award Cottage Hill Dairy received recently. As you know, we are members of the American Dairy Goat Association (ADGA). ADGA holds annual conventions and among other things, like selling goats, the event features contests for dairy goat products, such as cheese and other dairy food items, as well as body care products using goat milk. The purpose of the competition is to highlight and promote goat milk products and provide some feedback to improve them. This year the convention was held in Minnesota and I decided to enter my gift baskets containing Cottage Hill Dairy goat milk soap and lotion.

I entered two small gift baskets (similar to the ones pictured) and was so honored to learn that I won FIRST PLACE for my Small Gift Basket and SECOND PLACE for my Soap Gift Set. I just couldn’t believe we won on the first try! The judges liked the “cute theme” of the gift basket, saying “great label” and “well done”! The gift set was praised as being “cozy” and “practical”.  I also received positive comments on the Cucumber Melon Goat Milk Lotion that was included in the first place entry, saying it was smooth and silky and had a great feel. The Orange Cream & Lavender Goat Milk Soap also received praise for its creamy white lather and orange color. These products were displayed in the reception area during the convention and later auctioned to benefit the ADGA Youth Convention. Here is a link to the website for the convention with the results for the competition.

I am constantly looking for ways to adjust my recipes and techniques to improve my goat milk soap, lotion, and the other products we offer in our online store at www.CottageHillDairy.com/store. Participating in events like the ADGA Convention is one way to test the quality of our products and make them even better for you!
