Award winning Goat Milk Soap and Lotion

Exciting news from Cottage Hill Dairy!

I promised I wouldn’t send too many emails to clutter up your inbox, but I just couldn’t wait to share the news.

Each year the American Dairy Goat Association, a national association which handles the registration of dairy goats and dairy goat herds across the country, holds a convention to educate and celebrate dairy goats and related products.  This year the convention was held in Boise, Idaho and once again featured contests in the areas of art, youth contests, goat milk cheese and goat milk bath and body products. This is the second year I’ve entered soap and lotion in the Bath and Body contest and was pleased to win first place last year for the small gift basket that I entered. I’m very happy to say that this year, I again won first place for my small gift basket and also placed 2nd for my unscented fresh goat milk lotion (which I use as a base for all my lotions), 3rd place for my Classic Lavender Goat Milk Soap in the Essentials or Herbal Fresh Goat Milk category and 3rd place for my Goat Milk and Honey Shampoo & Body Bar in the Basic Miscellaneous category which features innovative products. I’m always looking for ways to make my soap and lotion recipes better and I’m so pleased to get this recognition from a national organization that focuses on goat milk!
